About this event
We'll meet at 10:30am at the Shell Station in Laplace. Departure time is 11am. We'll head west on I-10 for a 30 minute drive to Houmas House where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch then head outdoors to stroll the beautiful grounds which include shady paths through the beautiful gardens surrounded by giant moss-draped oaks, fountains, ponds, water features, sculptures, garden art and much more.
There is no extra charge to tour the gardens and grounds however, tickets to tour the home are available at the gift shop at an additional cost.
***A few of us will be continuing on to L'auberge Casino in Baton Rouge after Houmas House & everyone is welcome to come along.
